Madrid, May 16, 2006 - Justsystems Inc, today announced the introduction of xfy XBRL Solution, a new application based on its xfy Enterprise Solution. The xfy XBRL Solution is the industry's most powerful and flexible environment for working with XML data in XBRL format. This important advancement in XBRL will be demonstrated at the 13th XBRL International Conference in Madrid.

The xfy XBRL Solution allows organizations to create, handle and manage financial information in XBRL 2.0/2.1 format. The xfy XBRL Solution has client and server functions to enable an integrated XBRL solution for CFOs, executives and financial end users. This is an important capability as XBRL is increasingly deployed throughout financial enterprise environments.

One of the key features of the xfy XBRL Solution is the client functions for creating and authoring XBRL taxonomies*1 and instances*2. Users can generate financial documents from the taxonomies and instances quickly and easily without having specialized XBRL knowledge. In addition, financial documents can be edited in the same manner as using a word processor. Enterprises can also increase the accuracy of documents by linking figures in a document and financial data.

The xfy XBRL Solution has also server functions for:
 - version management for taxonomies and instances
 - annotation management in financial documents
 - search functions for accumulated financial data
 - access and function control by users

Another important element of the Justsystems XBRL announcement is related to the acquisition of the XMetaL business in March. XMetaL is already a leader in providing XBRL technology to the financial market. In order to develop a more complete XBRL solution, Justsystems is announcing the intention to integrate the XMetaL XBRL technology with the xfy XBRL Solution. The XMetaL world-leading XBRL technology includes a fully compliant XBRL processor (XBRL CS*3 and FRIS CS*4) and a unique formatting linkbase specification which enables rich presentation information to be stored and managed in an XBRL compliant way. Create accurate financial reports faster

Up to now, the main role of XBRL solutions has been to edit financial data for instances configured from taxonomies.
The xfy XBRL Solution can automatically generate an instance view that matches a given taxonomy. The xfy XBRL Solution provides user friendly operation similar to a word processing program, not just a simple financial data entry form. It also provides an environment where data can be easily be added to a document whenever necessary.
As a result, the xfy XBRL Solution can create financial reports (e.g., annual reports) very quickly from the instance and taxonomy.

Create analysis materials easier

Combine multiple financial statements and create analysis materials easier. The document-like user interface for XBRL financial data enables various reports to be created faster and easier. For example, a user can reference and summarize the contents from various financial statements, and easily produce business analysis and performance reports such as ROE, ROA, and EVA, and multi-year profit/loss calculations. Based on such data, the business can produce reports with graphs comparing sales trends.

Includes comprehensive XBRL data management server functionality

The xfy XBRL Solution provides a server environment, linked to a database, for managing and operating XBRL.

A repository enables management and changes to storage of schemas and linkbases configuring a taxonomy and instances corresponding to a taxonomy.

 - Validation

With XMetaL® XBRL Technology at the core, the xfy XBRL Solution provides more extensions to the validation technology. You can validate taxonomies and instances based on the international standard specifications of XBRL CS, FRTA CS, and FRIS CS.

 - Versioning

With version management of taxonomies and instances, you can call up desired financial data at any time.

 - Document security management

Access to functionality can be customized to match your usage level. In addition you can use XML encryption technology can also limit access to all or part of an instance, taxonomy, or financial document.

Other features

 - Annotations can be added to financial data documents.

The history of different user comments entered on a financial report and information about the creator(s) can be managed.

 - Composite XML documents are easily created

By handling even XBRL documents as XML composite document, the following become possible:

• XBRL documents can be used and operated as part of other XML documents or XML forms.
• SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) can be used for precise graphical representations. Also, when necessary, user-defined functionality can be added by using the XVCD script language.

 - Planned Support for XBRL Formula

Users will be able to freely define analytical expressions, and share verification knowhow among users.
