JustSystems' xfy software named "Best Application" at the 8th RIAO Conference

NEW YORK, New York — June 11, 2007 — JustSystems, Inc., a leading global enterprise software company, today announced that its xfy XML application framework software received the “Best Application” award at the 8th RIAO Conference, held at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, May 30 to June 1, 2007. RIAO is an international conference held every three years, organized by the Centre de Hautes Etudes Internationales D’Informatique Documentaire (C.I.D.)

With the theme of large-scale semantic access to text, sound, and video content, the conference features presentations and exhibits of advanced applications in these areas. At this year’s conference, a panel of international information technology specialists nominated applications for “Best Application,” with the winner being selected based on presentations and demonstrations made to RIAO participants.

In addition to client-side control that offers freedom in working with multiple XML schemas from various databases and the Internet, xfy also includes semantic document technologies that enable users to internally organize the content and meaning of XML data that have been created through mash-ups. These highly acclaimed features placed xfy at the top of the 16 nominated applications, awarding it the “Best Application” award. The award reconfirms both the innovation and functionality of xfy.

xfy Enterprise, an enterprise software solution based on xfy technology, enables data and content reuse, centralized management of information, and is the world’s first XML application framework that integrates both a highly flexible XML application development environment and a user-friendly client for business users. xfy Enterprise makes it possible to quickly develop integrated XML-based interfaces and applications, in order to share business processing functions.
