JustSystems Unveils Major Enhancements to xfy Enterprise
Latest version of xfy Enterprise composite application framework delivers dynamic content and data visually, right to the desktop
NEW YORK, New York / BOSTON, Massachusetts (Enterprise 2.0 Conference 2007) — June 19, 2007 — JustSystems, Inc., a leading global enterprise software company, today announced major enhancements to xfy (pronounced ‘x-fie’), the company’s flagship platform that empowers business users with access to, and visualization of, dynamic content and data from anywhere — inside or outside the business.
With the xfy Enterprise 1.5 XML-based composite application framework, companies now gain the freedom to combine structured data and unstructured content from disparate sources. xfy Enterprise federates content and data, whether corporate data locked in departmental systems, or content available through web services. Corporate IT departments benefit from the ability of xfy to rapidly federate data, and develop rich, integrated documents and applications — much faster than traditional data integration technologies, complex data migration methods or hard-coding interfaces to legacy applications.

- XML Object Repository -
The new XML Object Repository provides a collaborative content reuse workspace for workgroups so users can access common content, templates and components without having to physically move or copy data. It gives business users the power to manipulate and mash-up data to suit their own role-specific requirements.
- Math and Calclet functionality - When creating compound documents that combine structured data and unstructured content, business users can now take advantage of spreadsheet functionality that retrieves data from external databases and/or applications (CRM, SFA, etc.) to perform their own analysis outside of traditional reporting systems.
xfy Enterprise enables complete management and reuse of information, and is the first solution to integrate a flexible XML application development platform and a user-friendly client environment for business users.
